The project, which has the support of Scottish Enterprise (with a Tourism Innovation Award), Historic Scotland and VisitScotland, brings together the travels of Scotland’s Celtic saints and medieval traditions of pilgrimage, with modern faith journeys. Scotland’s Pilgrim Journeys promote an initial six ancient pilgrim routes which can be accessed on a new website, www.scotlandspilgrimjourneys.com, and travelled in various ways and stages, identifying significant churches and sacred sites to be visited. The Pilgrim Journeys celebrate the history and religious significance of some of Scotland’s most important and well known Saints: St Andrew, St Margaret, St Ninian, St Cuthbert, St Mungo (Kentigern) and St Columba
