The first Gathering of Scotland’s Churches Trust was held on 1 May 2013 at Dunfemline Abbey. We were delighted to have our Patron, HRH The Princess Royal, join us, as she has done at earlier SCS Gatherings, meeting most of our guests at the Reception in the Glen Pavilion in Pittencrieff Park, hosted by the Carnegie Trust UK.
All member churches of the Trust are invited to send representatives to the SCT Gatherings and it was good to have members and friends from across the country: from Galloway to Shetland! Dunfermline Abbey, one of the important ‘Destination Hubs’ on our Pilgrim Journeys, was an ideal location and we are indebted to the Church and to Carnegie UK for their involvement and support.
