Church Overview

The church was opened in 1966 and was dedicated on 12th September 1966 by Archbishop, later Cardinal, Gordon Gray. The architects were Gibson, Laing & Partners of Glasgow. It’s a modern building and a unique feature is its roof constructed as a “hyperbolic parabaloid” often referred to as a “saddle”. Artistic features include the Saints of Scotland stained glass window by Sax Shaw.
