Church Overview

The parish of Our Lady of Consolation was founded in 1966 and merged with Holy Cross in 2004. The church building, opened in 1971 and designed by Scott, Fraser & Browning, is typical of a construction of its time in boxy concrete and brick. The church is on the first floor, accessed by lift and stairs contained within the tall, square tower. Our Lady of Consolation is also the Archdiocese Youth Centre.
