Once a Church of Scotland building, Erskine Church has become an Independent Evangelical Church, and is now a member of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC). Simple United Presbyterian-style building of 1838. A pedimented open bellcote flanked by projecting brackets. Gables neatly finished with small finials. Pleasant restored interior with gallery. The pews have been removed and the ground floor area carpeted and worshippers now have individual seats. What used to be the Session Room is now the Hall, used for Bible Studies, Prayer meetings, Childrens’ activities and Leadership Team meetings. Visitors are always assured of a friendly welcome.
