Designed by John J Burnet 1887 as ‘one of a family of long, low friendly churches’. Constructed in red sandstone in an early Gothic style with a simple stone belfry and wooden porch. An unusual baptismal font is set into the arch and church wall and rush-bottomed chairs take the place of pews. Lit by circular candelabra. Two tapestries by Mrs Sandeman and two recently installed stained glass windows by Richard Leclerc.
