Church Overview
This modern building of 1971 was designed by Sutherland, Dickie & Copland. It consists of a square box of church and hall separated by a partition which can be opened to enlarge the church during the tourist season. The church is lit by a dramatic clerestory window. Simple interior with wooden furniture, the altar and font being of stone and slate. A metal sculpture of the Resurrected Christ by Liverpool artist Arthur Dooley (1929-1994) adorns the sanctuary wall.
