Canonbie Parish Church sits across the River Esk from the village. It is a large rectangular church with square tower in the centre of the west wall. Church and tower have Tudor details, the tower having a battlemented parapet and square corner turrets. The galleried interior is lit by two tiers of windows. The pulpit is in the centre of the long east wall. A large graveyard runs alongside the river.
