Church Overview

Plain country kirk of 1819 given a Gothic flourish by a spiky bellcote (1891). Fine interior including a handsome Regency pulpit with a sweeping curved stair. Memorial to Lord Ballantrae. Nephew of Robert Burns was minister 1826-30. Kennedy tomb beside church. Ruins of Ardstinchar Castle close by.
