Church Overview

It is situated on the sea front in the middle of the village but it was originally built in 1845 in Nairn as St Ninian’s Episcopal Church. In 1903, the building was demolished, shipped and then rebuilt in Lochinver by the Gordon family of Nairn.

It underwent significant repair and refurbishment work in 2022, with new wiring, plasterwork, the introduction of a refreshment area and a new artwork by local artist Lizzie McDougall.
